the happi training system

strength
endurance
athleticism/power
mobility

the happi training system is built on four core pillars: Lifting, Running, Athleticism/Power, and Mobility. It's a unique blend of hybrid training, athletic performance, and longevity-focused movement, designed to help you move well for life.

At the heart of the system is the happi assessment, where you'll be tested across all four categories to determine your happi level — ranging from Beginner (Level 1) to Elite (Level 4). The goal? To progress through the levels and become an elite happi athlete — a well-rounded individual with strength, endurance, power, and mobility.

But training is only part of the equation. Nutrition plays a key role in fueling performance and recovery, ensuring you build a strong, resilient body. the happi training system is not just about working out — it's a structured path to peak performance, longevity, and feeling your absolute best every day.

In summary, the happi training system is the smart approach to training your weaknesses without neglecting your preferences.

the happi coach

Hey there, I'm Nils, the founder of happi movement. I'm 33 years old, half Swiss, half Swede, and I've been passionate about movement, performance, and health for as long as I can remember. And growing up, I played multiple sports at a high and intense level.

I completed a Master's degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from University College London (UCL) and hold a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Even though I always wanted to look good, my main reason for getting into lifting weights and fitness was my love for sports. I wanted my training in the gym to enhance my movement, improve my athletic abilities, and have a spillover effect into both sports and everyday life. At the same time, I wanted to take care of my longevity, making sure I could move well not just now, but for the rest of my life.

But besides fitness, I'm also a self-taught software engineer and currently work as a developer for a company based in the Netherlands. This background in coding and problem-solving allows me to take a structured, data-driven approach to training, ensuring that every aspect of the happi training system is optimized for progress and long-term success.

If you're ready to train like an athlete, move better, and build a body that lasts, you're in the right place. Let's get to work!

happi faq

Is the happi training system just for losing weight or gaining muscle?

No, the Happi Training System is not just about aesthetics. While body composition changes can be a byproduct, the main focus is on building strength, endurance, power, and mobility to help you move and perform better for life.

How much commitment and discipline is required?

Progress takes time, and results don't happen overnight. If you're looking for quick fixes, this is not for you. Consistency, discipline, and a long-term mindset are key to making real progress.

Do I need access to a gym?

Yes, you'll need a well-equipped gym to get the most out of this training system. Strength, power, and endurance development require access to weights and proper training space.

How important is communication with you?

Very important! This is a collaborative process, and good communication ensures that we can adjust your training plan based on your progress, feedback, and needs.

What if I struggle to stay motivated?

Effort and consistency are non-negotiable. You need to show up, do the work, and trust the process. Your results will reflect the effort you put in.

Do I have to follow the program exactly as prescribed?

Yes! The system is designed to optimize your performance and help you improve across all key areas. Skipping sessions or not following instructions will only slow down your progress.

How long will it take to see results?

Every transformation takes time and patience. There are no shortcuts. If you stay committed, follow the plan, and trust the process, the results will come. In other words, this is not a 90 day transformation program!
